The Detroit Drive was a franchise in the the Arena Football League. Despite their short span with the AFL, the Drive are the most successful franchise in AFL history, and the AFL's first recognizable dynasty. The team made the playoffs every year of its existence and went to six straight Arena Bowls, winning four of them. At the end of 1993, Owner Mike Ilitch sold the franchise, and the Drive moved their base of operations to Worcester, Massachusetts, where they would spend one year under the title Massachusetts Marauders before folding after the 1994 season.
