Aladdin’s Castle was a popular chain of video-game arcades founded in 1969 and later operated by Bally Manufacturing. Often located in shopping malls, the arcades became a familiar hangout for teenagers during the golden age of arcade gaming in the late 1970s and 1980s, featuring games such as Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Galaga. At its peak, Aladdin’s Castle operated hundreds of locations across the United States and was one of the country’s largest arcade chains. As traditional arcades declined, the remaining locations gradually disappeared, with the Aladdin’s Castle name largely gone by the early 2000s. This piece of apparel is part of our Arcades Collection.
