Bleeker Bob's Records

Bleecker Bob’s Records was a legendary New York City record store and a longtime destination for serious music fans in Greenwich Village. Founded by Robert “Bleecker Bob” Plotnik, the shop became known for its enormous selection of vinyl, rare records, imports, and hard-to-find releases, particularly in rock and punk music. The store also earned a place in television history when it appeared in an episode of Seinfeld, adding to its status as a recognizable piece of New York pop culture. Bleecker Bob’s closed in 2013, ending an era for one of Greenwich Village’s most memorable independent record shops. This piece of apparel is part of our New York Music & Radio Collection.
