Cherokee Drive Inn
The Cherokee Drive Inn was a legendary Jackson, Mississippi landmark, with origins dating back to the early 1940s. It operated as a beloved neighborhood dive bar and eatery for decades on North State Street before moving to Old Square Road in 2003. Renowned for its classic burgers, Thursday roast beef plate lunches, and saltine crackers served with comeback dressing, it attracted a diverse crowd of college students, politicians, and blue-collar workers. Despite undergoing several changes in ownership throughout its long history, its sudden and final closure in 2015 marked the bittersweet end of a true local institution. This shirt is part of our Mississippi Bars & Restaurants Collection.
