Kay-Bee Toys

Kay-Bee Toys, later known as KB Toys, was once a familiar sight in shopping malls across America. Founded in 1922 as the Kaufman Brothers wholesale candy business, the company eventually shifted its focus to toys and grew into one of the nation’s largest mall-based toy retailers. Generations of kids remember its packed storefronts filled with action figures, video games, dolls, board games, and bargain bins spilling into the mall entrance. After decades as a holiday-shopping favorite, KB Toys closed its remaining stores in 2009, leaving behind plenty of memories for anyone who grew up roaming the malls of the 1970s, ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s. This piece of apparel is part of our Toy Stores Collection.
