Club Nu was located on 22nd Street in Miami Beach, Florida. After opening in 1987, the hyper-trendy Club Nu was the undisputed kingpin of South Beach nightclubs. By utilizing an innovative blend of ever-changing interior decor, quirky club events such as female oil-wrestling, and an eclectic grab-bag of concert attractions ranging from rock act 7 Seconds to lambada group Kaoma, the high-tech nightspot never failed to cover all the promotional angles. Unfortunately the party ended in 1992 and the club closed.
