The Beer Mug

The Beer Mug was first opened in 1968 by a trio of local businessmen at Peachtree Street across from the Amtrak station. It was one of the first sports bars in the country when it opened. In 2001, it had to relocate to Collier Road when construction began on the Brookwood Station development. It closed it doors for good on January 20, 2004 due to smaller crowds at the new location.
