Steak and Ale

Steak and Ale was founded in Dallas, Texas, in 1966 by restaurateur Norman Brinker, who helped popularize the casual-dining steakhouse concept in America. Known for its dimly lit Tudor-style atmosphere, affordable steaks, salad bar, and signature Kensington Club steak, the chain grew to hundreds of locations across the country. After decades of popularity, Steak and Ale struggled as competition increased and its parent company entered bankruptcy, leading to the closure of the remaining restaurants in 2008. This piece of apparel is part of our Restaurant Chains Collection.
