Coliseum Ramada Inn

The Coliseum Ramada Inn opened in 1961 on High Street and quickly became one of downtown Jackson's premier hotel hubs due to its proximity to the Mississippi Coliseum and State Fairgrounds. Over the decades, it hosted prominent political events, entertainers, and thousands of fairgoers before economic shifts led to its permanent closure in 2001.
