Widow Watson's

Widow Watson's was a popular bar and restaurant with two Mississippi locations, one inside Metrocenter Mall in Jackson and the other at Singing River Mall in Gautier. Known as a place where shoppers could take a break, enjoy a meal, and meet friends for drinks, Widow Watson's was part of the social scene surrounding two of Mississippi's best-known shopping malls. Both locations served customers during an era when enclosed malls were destinations for dining and entertainment as well as shopping. Although Widow Watson's is no longer in business, its name brings back memories of evenings out, mall visits, and gathering with friends in Jackson and on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
