The Stone Toad was a legendary, chameleon-like rock club and nightlife venue located right on Highway 49 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The venue began in 1968 as a premier Southern rock venue. It routinely pulled in iconic national acts like Gregg Allman, Foghat, Steppenwolf, and Leon Russell.  During the 1970s disco craze, the venue adapted by constructing a brand-new wing explicitly designed for dance crowds, complete with a popular Saturday Night Fever-style light-up dance floor.  In response to the massive success of the movie Urban Cowboy, the venue pivoted again. It was renamed Tal's Corral and became a local hub for country music and line dancing. This shirt is part of our Mississippi Bars & Restaurants Collection.
