WZZQ the Movie

WZZQ the Movie aims to tell the story about how creative brilliance once again grew out of the primordial wilds of Mississippi, this time in the form of an FM rock station called ZZQ102. ​

Air dates for the WZZQ documentary have been set for Monday, May 20, 2024, at 8 p.m.; Friday, May 24, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 25, at 7 p.m.; Sunday, May 26, at 4:30 p.m.; and Thursday, May 30, at 2 p.m. The movie will air simultaneously statewide on all eight MPB television stations, including WMPN in Jackson and WMAH, which serves south Mississippi, including Hattiesburg. Starting May 20, you can stream WZZQ the Movie on the MPB app, the PBS app, and MPBonline.org.
