Park Avenue

Park Avenue opened in 1978 at 500 North Water Street and became Milwaukee's go-to nightclub. Themed nights included Alternative Night, Gay Night, College Night, Mad Hatter Night, Ladies Night and Champagne Saturday. It was a favorite place for Milwaukee's pro athletes, turning the legal drinking age, bachelorette and bachelor parties, and sailors' shore leaves. During the 80s, Park Avenue was Thee Nightclub.
