WTYX - Jackson, MS

WTYX 94.7 FM was a longtime Jackson radio station remembered by generations of central Mississippi listeners. The WTYX call letters arrived in 1978, and the station became known as “94TYX,” bringing Top 40 hits to the Jackson airwaves throughout the 1980s before switching to an oldies format in 1990. It later became “Oldies 94” and then “Arrow 94,” continuing to feature classic rock and roll favorites. The WTYX era ended in 2004, but the call letters and 94TYX name remain a nostalgic part of Jackson radio history. This shirt is part of our Mississippi Music & Radio Collection.
