5 Points South Music Hall
American Retro Apparel
5 Points South Music Hall first opened in 1994 in Birmingham, Alabama by Tony Ruffino of New Era Promotions, in hopes of recapturing some of the caliber of acts that New Era had attracted to Brothers Music Hall in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The 999-seat club was managed by Gary Mitchell and Danny Higginbotham. In the front part of the building, the hall featured a smaller, 250-seat area open Monday through Saturday. A retractable wall opened at the back for larger shows. The smaller room was used for local live music. The Music Hall closed in 2003.
