Beatty Street Grocery

Beatty Street Grocery was a beloved Jackson, Mississippi landmark that permanently closed in September 2023 after 83 years in business. Established in 1940, it originally started as a small neighborhood market before gradually evolving into a legendary, no-frills lunch spot. The restaurant was highly celebrated for its giant griddled burgers, fried bologna sandwiches, and classic Southern blue-plate specials that routinely drew a diverse crowd of local workers and politicians. This shirt is part of our Mississippi Bars & Restaurants Collection.
