Captain’s Steak Joynt

Captain’s Steak Joynt was a familiar Wisconsin dining destination for more than two decades, with locations around the Milwaukee area and elsewhere in the state. For many Wisconsin families, a trip to Captain’s meant steaks and seafood, cheese fondue, and a visit to the memorable boat-shaped Bountiful Buffet salad bar. The nautical décor and casual atmosphere made Captain’s a popular choice for family dinners, birthdays, and nights out during the 1970s and 1980s. By 1993, the last Captain’s locations had closed, leaving the restaurant as a fondly remembered piece of Wisconsin dining history. This piece of apparel is part of our Chain Restaurant Collection.
