Cleveland Bengals

In 1935, the Cleveland "Bengals" minor league baseball team played a partial season in Mississippi as members of the Class C East Dixie League after replacing the folding Columbus Bengals franchise. The team subsequently transitioned into the Cotton States League in 1936 and rebranded as the Cleveland A's. This shirt is part of the Mississippi Sports Collection.
