Come and Take It

The Come and Take It flag originated during the Battle of Gonzales in the Texas Revolution, where Texans successfully resisted Mexican forces. The flag’s message stood for defiance against oppression and marked the first sign of a break between Texas colonists and the Mexican government. Today, it remains a symbol of Texan pride and perseverance.
