Fresno Sun Sox
American Retro Apparel
The Fresno Sun Sox operated as a farm club of the independent Sacramento Solons in the California League for just one season. For more than a decade, the Fresno Cardinals were owned by the St. Louis Cardinals but the club was sold to local ownership after the 1956 season. Operating without an affiliation in 1957, the Sun Sox finished in last place. However, the next season, the team became known as the Fresno Giants and began an affiliation with the San Francisco Giants that would last for 30 years.
