Greenwood Chiefs

The Greenwood Chiefs were a minor league baseball team based in Greenwood, Mississippi, during the mid-1930s. Originating when the Shreveport Sports moved mid-season in 1934, the team played as charter members of the Class D East Dixie League before transitioning through several other local moniker changes later in the decade. This shirt is part of the Mississippi Sports Collection.
