Ground Round
American Retro Apparel

Ground Round was founded in Massachusetts in 1969 by Howard Johnson’s and grew into a popular casual-dining restaurant chain across the United States. Known for its relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, the restaurants became especially memorable for serving complimentary popcorn and offering burgers, steaks, sandwiches, and other American favorites. Ground Round expanded to hundreds of locations during its peak years in the 1980s and 1990s, becoming a familiar sight in many communities. The chain's parent company filed for bankruptcy in 2004. This piece of apparel is part of our Chain Restaurant Collection.
