Houston Gamblers
American Retro Apparel

The Houston Gamblers were a professional football team that played in the original United States Football League during the 1984 and 1985 seasons. Led by quarterback Jim Kelly and head coach Jack Pardee, the Gamblers became famous for their explosive “Run and Shoot” offense and were one of the USFL’s most exciting teams. Kelly threw for more than 5,000 yards and 44 touchdowns during his remarkable 1984 season, earning USFL Most Valuable Player honors. Although the Gamblers lasted only two seasons, their high-scoring style and colorful identity remain a memorable part of 1980s football history. This piece of apparel is part of our Texas Sports Collection.
