Kiddieland
American Retro Apparel
What started out as a small venture in Melrose Park, Illinois during the Great Depression, Kiddieland opened for the first time in 1929 as just a small venue with ponies and things for parents to bring their kids and get some time to themselves. Throughout the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, Kiddieland would continue to grow and expand until the original owner transferred ownership to is grandchildren in 1977. New ownership would continue to expand and operate the amusement park until it shut down over 30 years later, ultimately being demolished in 2010, nine months after closing its doors to the public.
