Memphis Pharaohs

The Memphis Pharaohs were a team in the Arena Football League. They were called the Pharaohs because the city of Memphis was named after Memphis, the capital of ancient Egypt and also their home arena was shaped like a pyramid. After the team went winless in 1996, they moved west to Portland, Oregon and became the Forest Dragons.
