New York Stars
American Retro Apparel
The New York Stars played in the World Football League (WFL) in 1974, opening their season against the Jacksonville Sharks. Unable to use Yankee Stadium or Shea Stadium, the Stars were forced to play their home games at Downing Stadium on tiny, hard to reach Randall's Island. After their 7th home game, a contest with the Detroit Wheels, they left the Big Apple and headed for Charlotte. For one game, against the Chicago Fire, they were the Charlotte Stars but became the Hornets upon their arrival in North Carolina.
This Gildan Unisex Basic Softstyle t-shirt is made of a thicker, heavier cotton, but it's still soft and comfy. And the double stitching on the neckline and sleeves add more durability to what is sure to be a favorite!
