Walthall Hotel

The historic Edison Walthall Hotel opened in downtown Jackson, Mississippi, in 1929 as an elegant eight-story Neo-Gothic landmark. It quickly became the city's premier political and social hub, famously hosting governors, local elites, and legendary high-stakes political dealings for decades. The hotel closed in 2010.
