Waterland USA

Waterland USA was a popular water park in Ridgeland, Mississippi, located between Highway 51 and Ridgewood Road, and was a summertime destination for generations of Jackson-area families. The park featured water slides and other aquatic attractions and competed directly with Rapids on the Reservoir, which opened on Spillway Road in 1984. After Waterland USA closed, several of its water slides were moved to Rapids on the Reservoir, allowing part of the old Ridgeland park to live on at its longtime Rankin County rival. Today, Waterland USA is remembered as one of the Jackson metro area’s favorite lost summertime attractions. This shirt is part of our Mississippi Entertainment Collection.
