WQID - Biloxi, MS
American Retro Apparel

WQID 93.7 FM was one of the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s most memorable radio stations, using the WQID call letters from 1969 until 1994. During the 1970s and 1980s, WQID became a popular Top 40 station with a particularly strong following among younger listeners throughout the Biloxi-Gulfport area. Its powerful FM signal helped carry the station across much of the Gulf Coast, making “QID” a familiar part of everyday life for a generation of listeners. In 1994, WQID became WMJY “Magic 93.7,” bringing an end to one of the Coast’s best-remembered radio identities.. This piece of apparel is part of our Mississippi Music & Radio Collection.
